Chronic stress can result in a broad range of consequences, including back pain, digestion issues, heart disease, fatigue, inflammation, depression, and anxiety. In fact, recent research has shown that a significant percentage of doctor visits in the US are a result of the stressors our daily lives. This series will provide a weekly opportunity for self care as well as practices that you can learn to help gain resilience and manage stress as it occurs in your daily life. Classes are taught in the Viniyoga tradition, a gentle form of yoga that is adapted to the comfort and ability of each student.
